Guests notice the tea. At a hotel, an event or an expo, a good cup offered quickly says you’ve thought about them, and a long queue or a lukewarm cup does the opposite. A vending machine is one of the simplest ways to get it right every time.
Hotels and guest houses
A machine in the lobby, on each floor or in the breakfast area lets guests get tea or coffee whenever they want, without calling room service. It’s especially useful at night and early in the morning, when the kitchen is short-staffed. Choose a Two Lane for a small guest house or a Three Lane with Hot Water for busier hotels, so guests can also use plain hot water for green tea. In hill areas, add Kashmiri tea. See our post on Muzaffarabad and AJK.
Corporate events, weddings and seminars
At a seminar tea break, two hundred people step out of the hall at the same time. Machines placed around the break area serve elaichi tea, karak and cappuccino much faster than a tea counter, and every cup tastes the same. For weddings and mehndis, a coffee and chai station is a nice touch that doesn’t need a barista.
Expos and trade shows
At Expo Centre stalls and trade fairs, a hot cup is the easiest way to get visitors to stop and talk. A compact machine on your stall serves visitors in seconds, so your team can focus on the conversation instead of making tea. Many exhibitors go for cappuccino and karak, which suit both local and foreign visitors.
What to plan
- Power and water: each machine needs a socket and a water supply (bottle or line).
- Guest numbers and timing: plan for the busiest break, not the daily total.
- Cups and stirrers: keep them next to the machine. It sounds obvious, but it’s the most commonly forgotten item.
- Enough premix: all 15 flavours come in 1 kg packs, so order for the event plus a margin.
